Pumpkin patch 2010

This year for our annual pumpkin patch trip, we ran to the Dallas Arboretum.
I'd always wanted to go to the arboretum in the fall but just could never get the timing right with our schedule.  This year we lucked out.  We went for a picnic on a Sunday afternoon and had a great time.  When we first walked in, Brooke spotted a little squirrel eating some pumpkin seeds.  The girls were fascinated watching this little guy.
The arboretum had these great pumpkin houses they had built representing stories where pumpkins played an important role (one example: Cinderella's house - because the pumpkin became the coach she rode to the ball in).  We also went on a pumpkin hunt looking for the twenty different varieties of pumpkins (we found them all) and selected our own pumpkins to take home.  The arboretum was, by far, the best pumpkin patch we've been too.  We all had so much fun.  Here are a few of our pumpkin patch pictures.
