Play time!

There really is nothing better to do on a snowy day than to bundle up and play in the winter wonderland Mother Nature created.  So, as soon as the girls got home from school Thursday, we all did just that.  I will say that playing in the snow today wasn't nearly as cold as playing in the snow in Amarillo at Christmas.  But this snow, this was GREAT snow.  Nice and wet so it made some awesome snowmen, snow forts and, of course, snow balls!
Briana made her very first snowman with a little help from Mommy & Daddy (Brooke was at Jake's house building a snow fort)
Sierra, our dog that's a Husky mix, was having a blast in her element.
We have a little hill in front of the house, so we took full advantage of some sledding opportunities
And our finished snowman:
Even Dakota seems to really enjoy the snow
Of course, we had to make snow angels
And have a snowball fight.
I'll say this much about the snowball fight.  If ever you have one with us, you want to make SURE Roger is on your team.  It took all of us (including another neighbor) and a slippery hill to take him down.  He slipped trying to walk up the hill and really, I think that's the only time we all (5 of us) got the upper hand.  Of course, when he got up the hill, he picked me up and threw me in the snow and rolled me in it.  And no, my fellow snowball throwers did NOT help me.  Some team they are!
