Dad called me a little while ago. Mom is in the hospital and will be in ICU. They had her down getting xrays and CT scans of her lungs and brain. Once that is complete, they will put her on an IV and on some massive doses of antibiotics. Hopefully, we'll know by later this afternoon where the infection originated.
Mom's white blood cell count is around 30 (normal is around 10 or 11).
If she doesn't respond quickly to treatment and they can't get this turned around, they will transfer her to Amarillo. Please continue praying that she responds well, and quickly, to treatment. And pray for Dad.
