Pumpkin projects, pumpkin patches and even an attempt at a Guinness Book of World Records for pumpkin carving. What a busy and pumpkin filled weekend we had! On Saturday morning, the girls and I headed to Lowe's for their build project and we made pumpkins. We put together two complete faces that the girls can change out of their pumpkin. Brooke's pumpkin has one set of features and Briana's has the other. They are getting to be quite handy!
After we finished building our pumpkins, we headed off to the pumpkin patch with Gracie. You'll have to ask Craig to retell the story of the single most hysterical moment of the day. Let's just say it involved a group of pumpkins, my incredible gracefulness and the ground. If only we'd had a camera....

Notice how close the pony is to Brooke's tutu...he decided he'd take a taste and tried to eat one of the pieces of her tutu. You can't see it in the picture, but there is a sign that says "Don't feed the horses." Thankfully, Christi got it away from him before he decided to eat the tulle.

Finally, on Sunday, we met some friends at Southfork to participate in and try to help break the world record for number of pumpkins carved simultaneously. We didn't break the record, but we had a great time riding ponies, petting animals, bouncing in bounce houses, visiting with our friends, "fishing" for candy, throwing horse shoes, three-legged races and, of course, carving our pumpkins.
